Today (July 02, 2009) is the birthday of Miss Lindsay Lohan. She turns 23, can you believe it? Although she’s a few years older than I am, I still remember when she was 11 or 12 years old, playing twins in Disney’s The Parent Trap. And does anyone remember that movie where Tyra Banks played the doll that came to life? Oh, it was called Life Size! That was a great one too. Because of those movies, Lindsay Lohan was one of my favorite actresses as a kid.

Then she grew up, and all the controversy happened. I do feel horrible about how she was put out there for all to see while she struggled with the lows in her life. I can only say how I feel, though, because I’m looking in from the outside. No one really knows what her life is like, and goes for all young stars like her these days.

Regardless of how she was portrayed in the media, though, it seems things are looking up for Miss Lohan. I recently saw a trailer for Labor Pains, a comedy film that will be coming out this month on ABC. Pretending to be pregnant for 9 months to keep a job? I’d like to see how that turns out.

Hopefully this movie will take off and do well. I wish the best to Miss Lohan, as well as a very Happy Birthday and a pleasent 23rd year.
